Taiwan to Canada Immigration Program – Reasons you should choose Canada

  • It is a Multicultural country

When we say multicultural, we mean that Canada embraces people from different ethnicity and cultural background. Canada is seen as the first country in the world to make multiculturalism an official policy in 1971 and through this, the country has become one of the most diverse countries to live in and you can do this while still retaining your own culture

  • Education

Canada can boast of the highest standard of education among many other countries of the world and one good thing is that the government has funded schooling up until Grade 12, meaning that it is free. The country is also the home of some of the best tertiary institutions in the world where you can continue your pursuit for a brighter future. In Canada, we have universities such as the University of Toronto, McGill University, and the University of British Columbia

  • Less Pollution

You will definitely enjoy Canada as the level of pollution is to an extent lower than that of Taiwan. For the record, Canada holds the 9th position for the world’s cleanest countries for overall air quality.

  • Diversification of Wealth

In Canada, you have the opportunity to invest in businesses and accumulate wealth for yourself thereby increasing your status even as an immigrant.

  • Entertainment

When it comes to entertainment, the country is not lagging. Canada is an urban playground and it offers a wide range of festivals and concerts where various international arts come to perform every year. There are a lot of buzzing and bubbling cities in Canada like Toronto, Vancouver, and many others. There are also recreational centers in the country where you can go for sightseeing and relaxation. You get to visit various art museums, historical landmarks, and restaurants and if you are an adventurer, there are a lot of national parks to explore, such as Banff and Jasper National Parks.

  • High standard of living

Canada also boasts of a high standard of living as we mentioned earlier. The cost of living in the country is low and certainly, with this, there will be a high standard of living as experienced in the Great White North. The country offers free health care services to its citizens and also permanent residents. Also, some provincial Medicare systems are cost-effective and available to everyone

  • Affordable housing

This depends on the province but generally, housing can be quite affordable in Canada, for example, on average, the monthly rent in New Brunswick is estimated to be $893 per month or $178,000 to buy a house but in Taiwan, you will be paying around $456,603 to $521,832 for a house in Taipei, which is the commercialized part Taiwan.

  • Not too crowded

Canada has some peaceful cities like Edmonton in Alberta, the wonderful coastline of Prince Edward Island, and even the beautiful towns of Saskatchewan, and these areas are less crowded and peaceful too.

  • Affordable

This is unarguably true. Canada is quite affordable as it has a low cost of living. This is one of the few countries that do not pay sales tax. In Taiwan, the consumers bear the burden of the tax as a 100% import tax is added to the prices of most goods, including luxury goods. Also, the basic needs of life (housing, food, and clothing) are very expensive making the cost of living in Taiwan seem high. In Canada you should be paying approximately $214 per month, depending on the province and cities that you live in.

  • Job Opportunities

Canada has a lot of job opportunities as it has an aging population of retirees. They are currently looking for skilled foreigners to fill up the shortages in the labour force. Currently, it has over 100 immigration programs to help the country achieve its agenda of inviting over 1.2 million immigrants within the next 3years.

  • Safety and security

The country is seen as one of the safest and most secure places to be in the world with few criminal activities happening in the country. The provinces and cities are safe.
